If you have a school-aged student in need of breakfast and lunch this summer (or know of someone who does), simply text “FOOD” to 877877 and receive a message back with a location closest to where they can get free summer meals. Even if you aren't in need, someone else's kids are. No child deserves to go hungry, ever.

The service is also available in Spanish, by texting the word “COMIDA” instead of “FOOD”.

About Our Program
Funded by community donations by organizations such as the Marlboro Faculty Association, our BackPacks For Friends Program provides a weekend's worth of healthy, well-balanced meals in small bags. The bags are packed with the assitance of the MCSD Honor Society and Food Service Department and then given to the students' teachers every Friday to be discreetly placed into the child's backpack.
